New assignments are created in Canvas each time a vocabulary set is synced to the LMS. This results in duplicate assignments shown in the Canvas gradebook. This glitch appeared this year, so perhaps a change in the programming code caused this. The sync is no longer automatic when instructors in our multi-section course must tend to the mushrooming of assignments throughout the semester. Would love to see a fix soon.
