It would be helpful for new due dates to show up on the calendar when extensions are granted. I have often changed dates to accommodate learners and assignments seem to always stay with the original due date.

Also would be helpful if default date in calendar were the actual day you're assigning. In my calendar, it's usually Sept 8th (even though we are now into Oct) and the due date defaults to a date in December so that means that I need to do more clicking and have accidentally assigned a wrong due date at times.
