Hi Cathy! This looks like an activity that you (or a different teacher) created. You'll just need to turn on the 'credit for completion' option for that prompt and that should get rid of the red x's! I believe we've updated this for all of our 'preference-based' questions in our Global Library.

Also, if it is marked incorrectly for a personal opinion, the teacher has to adjust the points for every student! That takes extra time and I'm always trying to save time!.
